The journey begins

Well...here I am. Finally in the waiting room. I bought a nice Sig P220 back in the early 90's, shot it twice and kept it nice and clean and hidden away for the past 18 years or so. Finally decided I wanted to get into shooting again and get my CHL as well. Took a beginner's handgun class, went to the range for practice, online application, fingerprints, photographs, and finally the CHL class last Saturday (March 17th). Packet sent in the mail on Monday (March 19th).

And now THE WAIT.......

Well, you came to the right place. I'm exactly three weeks ahead of you as far as mailing my packet. Got my first status update to "background check under review" on 3/20. In the meantime I've been absorbing as much info as I can while I wait. Here's to us both getting our plastic in a timely manner!

Yesterday 4/19 moved to manufacturing pending and now today 4/20 to manufacturing!
