Back ground check slow because of gun purchase?

How long?

I doubt it has anything to do with gun purchases. It's based on your criminal (or lack there of) background and probably mostly due to the height of the stack of applicants to check, IMO. Mine was in BG check for 22 or so days.

...no...if NICS didn't delay you...that means nothing raised their flags...

I wondered that about mine too. I bought my first gun the end of January and bought another one less than a month later.
