CHL Buddy escort for the first Wally Walk

Post by Beiruty »

Ah,

New CHLer are filled with excitement and suspense after the plastic is finally in hand. New CHLers have to have their maiden Wally Walk, how about instating a CHL buddy escort for those who asks for it? :biggrinjester:

Not a bad idea.
When I first got mine, way back in the early days :???: I had a friend who I hung out with quite a bit who was not a CHL, but who knew I carried. So I'd always ask him "is it showing?" or "could you tell/did you know I was carrying?" Having a spotter to reassure me that my weapon was not obvious helped me get over the initial jitters.
Wife, girlfriend, friend, doesn't have to be a CHL, but someone you can trust with the knowledge that you carry to "tell me if this shows when I reach up or bend down, or if it prints too obviously when I turn this way or that."

Eventually you'll realize that most people are oblivious to what's going on around them anyway and stop worrying about it. But in the beginning it can be comforting to have a buddy along.
