Manufacturing Pending as of 4/5/12 !

My status switched to Manufacturing Pending today. as of yesterday, it had been stuck at Fingerprints and Background Check both under review. Had been that way for a week and half (since last Monday). Shouldn't be long now!

Its really wierd because , I have read stories of folks calling in and asking about the progress of their application , only to see the status change the next Day . Well , I called Tuesday to inquire and , talked to a really nice Rep and , He told Me that I had 20 more Days and , I should expect it to take about all of that . Well , Guess what ? Status changed to Manufacture Pending Yesterday . So , Who knows , I'm just glad to be about done .

I have to say, my experience was almost the same. I sent mine in on Feb 28th. I thought about sending it certified, but was in a hurry (I'd used up most of my lunch getting the fingerprints) so I didn't. Then I read the tips which said we should, and worried a bit.

Have to interject, and say I took my class almost 2 years ago (2 years on April 6th), but didn't have a gun, plus I'm a semi-professional procrastinator, so I kept putting it off. I got my Glock as a late Christmas presnt in February, and decided I better get it all done before the class certificate expires.

On March 22nd, I started getting worried since the status hadn't changed. I called and explained to the lady that I hadn't sent it certified, and wanted to know if I should resend everything before the April 6th deadline rolls around and my class expires. She asked me to wait, came back and said they had my material, so I didn't need to worry.

That was on a Thursday. The web site didn't get updated that day, or on Friday. Then Sunday I was reading the forum, and saw where someone's status had been updated on a Saturday. I decided to check, and sure enough, mine was updated.

That's where it stayed until today.
