Pelican 2360 Flashlight (Highly Recommend)

Post by gregthehand »

I bought this light as I was tired of having $100 tied up in a small flashlight and then having to pay out the nose for CR123 batteries all the time. Likewise I didn't want a rechargeable as they are generally still expensive.

I've had good experience with Pelican so I found this light (http://pelican.com/lights_detail.php?recordID=2360) on their website and ordered one off of Amazon. I am a Pelican dealer and I was still able to find one on Amazon for about 5% over my cost. Since I would have had to have it shipped from Pelican I went ahead and bought it there for $29 shipped.

I am really liking this light so far. It seems very well built, very very bright, and best of all takes cheap ole' AA batteries.

For you preppers like me I also bought two boxes of AA Energizer rechargeable batteries and a solar charger. Now I don't have to worry about not having a light in a long term grid down situation.

I'm pretty much sold on these guys:

Nebo Redline 220 lumens, 3 brightness settings, strobe, SOS, and AAA batteries.

3 pack for 65 bucks.

oPlease stop it!, You are teasing me to spend another $90, 3 flashlights, 3 holsters and 1 clamp for a shotgun!

Do I need 3 holsters? or 1 is enough??? :headscratch :headscratch

Ordered 3 flashlights, 2-holsters and 1 clamp. I figured 2 will go in the cars and 1 will take ride on a shotgun or the AK.
