Kingsford Charcoal at Home Depot

Post by Medic218 »

Just a heads up for y'all that like to cook outside.
Home Depot has their Kingsford charcoal on sale though the weekend I think.
It's two 13.9lb bags of charcoal for $5.88.

Y'all have a safe and fun weekend and remember those who aren't here so that we can enjoy the lifestyles we all know and love. :patriot:

Thirteen POINT NINE pounds? What, couldn't include another briquet to make it an even 14 lbs? Is this like the 1/2 gallon ice cream containers that only contain 0.43 gallons of ice cream? Use too much lighter fluid and... :blowup

I like my Traeger grill. Uses wood pellets.

It's probably metric. Remember a fifth [of a gallon] of wine is now a smaller 750 ml bottle that costs more money. ;-)

Kingsford makes charcoal?

I thought they made black sawdust. Bricketts aren't charcoal.

If you're not using real hardwood lump charcoal, you might as well just stay inside and cook on a gas range.

Briquettes do make nice cheap, biodegradable skeet, though.

It's been a while since I've bought one... but I think it's a 20lb bag of charred mesquite for $20 (maybe less) at HEB.

I can't even stand the smell of burning mesquite anymore after the wildfires.
