Has anyone tried this bullet mold:

This is the other one I am considering:

I have been looking at this mold also, but have not pulled the trigger yet. It's on my list along with the 45 acp Devastator also. Looking at the reviews, looks like most like it. Some complain about heat up time, they must not have used steel molds because most take some time heating up. Plus others are upset about not getting the stated size or weight, Lyman tells you what alloy they were made for on their web site or on the mold instructions which most do not read ;-)
Wheel weight lead is not universal as most people think it should be..They just have to try it and see. I usually just adjust my charge for any bullet weight if it's off very much. But most turn out close enough to work just fine.
Let us know if you buy it. I would really like to have some first hand info also.....

This is the other one I am considering: I do have this mold, it does just fine in my 9mm Ruger pistol using wheel weight lead.

I'll never buy another Lyman mould.

Their quality has slipped. I've had to send more stuff back to Lyman than any other manufacturer. They use their cherry cutters too long to save costs, which lets them wear down and produce undersized moulds. I've had them drop bullets too small even after getting returned from the factory for rework.

If you go to the Castboolits forum, you hear widespread grumbling about Lyman quality these days.

I'd buy a Lee over a Lyman any day of the week.

However, I would suggest the Lee 6 cavity mold over the 2 cavity. Better mold and easier to produce enough bullets to shoot.

Looks like a converted Lee mold may be another option:
