Bam, I got one
Been looking for an S&W M&P Shield 9mm for awhile now. Hadn't been able to come up with one no where. Yesterday my wife started googling all over the state looking for one. She found a couple'a 40's but I really wanted a 9mm. Today she started googling again and made several calls to no avail. Then she ask me if there was a gun shop in Buffalo, Tx. She called and the guy said yep he had one. We headed out the door at 2:51pm and headed that way. By 4:30pm I was a proud owner of a new M&P Shield 9mm. And the best part was the price, $399.95 + tax.
I'm one happy guy, with a very great wife.

Here is my report. This is a very sweet shooting pistol. I love the way it handles. It is also easy to conceal. It will become my carry gun.

Since I haven't seen one in person yet, how does in compare in size to either the Kahr CM/PM9, or the CW9?SkipB wrote:Here is my report. This is a very sweet shooting pistol. I love the way it handles. It is also easy to conceal. It will become my carry gun.

Nah, I don't want to drive from Grapevine to Plano just to hold a gun, and while the Shield strikes me as a neat gun, I have no desire to buy one. I was just curious about the size compared to some other guns in that same general class of guns.EvilNuff wrote:If you want to see and hold one Bullet Trap in Plano has a display case model.

I'm a big S&W guy and haven't dealt with those other gun you speak of. I do own 2 M&P'c in 9mm and .40. The Shield is very easy to conceal and fearly comfortable, I really do like that part. It shoots very well but then most pistols do. I really am very satisfied with the gun and plan on it being my daily carry. I would never tell anyone that my gun is better than your gun, I think they all have a purpose for each indivual. This one suits me to a tee. I wanted the 9mm over the .40 because of less recoil. With the great verity and quility of ammo we have today it is hard to say one is better than the other. I think it is all in what a person prefers in a gun or the ammo. As for a picture of it, I don't know how to do that, sorry. It looks like the one on the S&W site. The Annoyed Man wrote:Since I haven't seen one in person yet, how does in compare in size to either the Kahr CM/PM9, or the CW9?SkipB wrote:Here is my report.
