Greetings folks!
Wanted to say thanks for what I learned from our great host and board.
From what I am reading, my application has turned into a bullet all of a sudden.
Status went from “Manufacturing Pending” to “Manufacturing” to “Mailed” within 24 hours. All of this on a Friday! I do expect it to be in my mail box Monday morning!
There is hope for you also.
NOTE it still has been 39 days so far.

Re: Took Off like a bullet
Mine was "mailed" on the 11th, still has not arrived... no big deal, just saying... but looks like mailed means something else

Mailed "status" doesn't mean mailed in reality.
I like to keep this handy... for close encounters.

I'm still hanging on the mailbox. Looks like July 13-14 were big days for "mailed" category.

Re: Took Off like a bullet
while you are waiting read chapter 2 in the booklet again and here is a quote from Massad Ayoob:
words of gun wisdom
I make a quote from Massad Ayoob
“The power of a gun is never ignored, no matter how accustomed one becomes to the weight on his hip. A man carrying a gun for the first time is acutely, even uncomfortable aware of its presents. After a time, he ceases to notice both the weight and the responsibility not because he has forgot then them but because they have both assimilated into his bearing and demeanor”
From his book “in the gravest extreme” chapter 11 under discretion

Some parents say it is toy guns that make boys warlike. But give a boy a rubber duck and he will seize its neck like the butt of a pistol and shout "Bang!"......George Will
