Passport for Born out of Country Doc

Post by Bakeek »

Hello,

The wife is currently going through her CHL course right now...and I am very proud of her!

One issue I may have found however. My wife has a passport, unexpired. But, the name on her passport matches her maiden name...not the name on her CHL application. I was thinking if I include our marriage license with the passport it may not matter.

Any thoughts or previous experience with this little mix-up?

Looked through the search but had a difficult time finding anything relevant.

Thanks a million!

I think that as long as her DL has the correct name you will be okay with the marriage license and passport. :thumbs2:

Sure hope so...only half the class is over and she is very happy that she took the course and excited to be able to start carrying.
