Couple of Carry first times

Post by Topdog77c »

Just got my new crossbreed super tuck and mag carrier last week. Been trying out around the house. Very comfortable. Case #1. So, Friday night the wife and I go to a dinner play. The G30 went with me in her new leather home. Needless to say the wife had no clue. When we got back home I asked her, Could you tell? She said tell what? My clothes. Could you tell anything about them.? She had no clue what I meant. That was until I lifted my shirt. Case #2. Carried to church with the same set up. Same result. My wife is still not understanding my reason for the need. But after the news from Wisconson over the weekend, her understanding may come around.

Congratulations on your initial excursions into the world as an armed citizen. I was really nervous the first few times I went out in public with mine. It passes pretty quickly.

Great news. It's always nice when the person most familiar with you doesn't notice you're packing. :tiphat:

I try to keep her guessing. Lol. The onr thing I worry about more is where to and where not to carry. I just don't want to screw up with that. And how big a deal is "printing"? I am realizing that there may be a compromise with what to wear while carrying. A work in progress as they say.

Lots of threads discussing printing. I would recommend a good search.

I'll give you a quick opinion though... I would bet anyone that I could walk around the mall or HEB for hours while MASSIVELY "printing" and no one would ever know. I would go as far as saying that you can expose much of it as well, it will go unnoticed. As a new carrier, I was very nervous about being spotted, but now I'm almost too unconcerned about being spotted.

I carried for a full year before my wife ever knew. I did that to prove a point to her and myself. It was also kind of a game to me.

4 rules [abbreviated profanity deleted] carry I give to all new CHLers.

1. Quality gear - comfortable & concealable.

2. Put it on - aint worth 2cents if you need it & it is in your sock drawer.

3. Just cover it up - No one is looking, watching, or cares.

4. Leave it alone - dont mess w/ it & no one will know.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.
