Renewal - 37 days box to box

Post by 45Carrier »

Not too bad considering just a few years ago approval/renewals were running in the 60 day range, and the 4th of July day off in the duration.

One of my friends who took the same renewal class as me, got his back almost two weeks ago. He uploaded his CHL100 via the DPS website. His application didn't sit in limbo for two weeks before showing received like mine did after it was sent snail mail.

He uploaded his on a Monday morning, everything showed received Wednesday of the same week. Two weeks in BC, week wait in the mail to receive his new plastic.

If you are renewing, upload the docs, it appears to save a couple of weeks, and to throw a bone to Al Gore it uses less paper and manpower of the post office.

I was going to do another Wally Walk, but, I'm not going to WalMart.

I'm taking the day off and going to hit the range tomorrow instead to celebrate :patriot:
