New applications can now be emailed to DPS

You can now email your new application documents to DPS, as long as you have a Texas DL and ate willing to have them use that photo. You must hand write "Please use my Texas DL photo" on the CHL-6 form. Now, this does not apply to out of state DL's- those persons must still mail in photos and forms snail mail.

Hmmmm....very interesting. Where/how does this work? I am getting ready to mail off all my paper work as soon as get fingerprinting done. I guess this means they are accepting emailed scans of all the documents?
