Thanks for the link. That was just some anecdotal data from one Ohio city, but it was still interesting
that so many of the BG's had guns in such bad shape.

By the way, I read another study about BG's and their gun habits:

* Holsters are generally not used. They use "Mexican carry" (stuffed in pants waistband).

* 50% of the BG's carry at 12 o'clock position (in front), 50% carry SOB (small of back).

* During a traffic stop by LEO's the BG will hand off his gun to his girlfriend, who is more likely to be ignored by the LEO's.

* BG's sometimes put a gun under a baseball cap, but a more tricky place is to place it in the hood of a hoodie, with the gun
hanging down behind the BG's back.

* BG's will go out to the woods and practice with their guns if they have some ammo.

* BG's are also known to have BUG's (Backup Guns), so just because a LEO may find 1, there's still danger from the BUG.

The above link is to a 3 minute, 55 second video where a stupid girlfriend of a gangbanger films him doing a driveby.
The BG is lucky that he doesn't shoot himself or the GF with all the muzzle sweeping and generally poor gunhandling.
The HG he's holding appears to be a Springer XD or maybe some other kind of semi-auto with a stainless slide and black body.
The long gun he holds up is a GC36c "machine gun" (not my description). Anyone know about this gun? It's news to me.
This video helped the cops convict him and send him to the Graybar Hotel.
