Gun control reignited

Post by RPB »

Yet another article by some "Newbie" young Liberal who has not studied history, yet pretends to know the "reasons" for amendments being passed, and acts as if an amendment actually "gives" a "fundamental" right which pre-existed the original document which had the amendment added.

Let us support common sense controls on CGO (Civilian Gun Ownership) ...
I just have problems accepting that some person with less knowledge and a lower IQ has the common sense I'd trust to allow them the right to control me. I have had armed criminals control me before, why does this random person writing the article want to control others?
Armed people are tougher to control, so, people who want to control want the edge of knowing you are not armed.

Common Sense and "control" used in the sense of wanting you to believe it's common sense to disarm so another can control you ... is not logical unless you have some odd desire to be at another's mercy and powerless..It is not "common sense" to want to handle rattlesnakes without your snakeproof gloves on so that the snake has the edge, or to walk on hot coals without the protection afforded by shoes, .... that's stupidity, not "common sense"

In what universe is it "common sense" to desire to become more vulnerable to harm and defenseless and HAVE TO submit to the will of another who can harm you and your family? ... Some Liberals need dictionaries and reality checks.

My answer to him wuld be that we already have those common sense laws on the books, so there is no need for more.

I thought his article was fairly PRO-firearms. But the article certainly left a lot to be desired.
