I have a Galco belt holster that I'm very happy with. Now, I only recently recieved my CHL and holster so my wardrobe existed before I went on these ventures. I'm finding that I have some jeans where instead of having a direct 3 oclock position, I may have to position the holster at my 2 or my 5 so that I don't print.
Question being, will wearing the holster at different positions decrease its life; am I stretching it too much? I plan on buying more of the clothes that I know that will be OK, but in the meantime, I want to be sure I'm not doing any type of harm. Thanks!!

Don't worry about what effects the carry position will have on your holster, it won't affect it. Your holster isn't likely to stretch unless you decide to carry your Desert Eagle in it.
Most folks start out, logically, carrying right smack on their hip. Unfortunately, that's the widest part of the body and it now looks a lot wider. Not good for concealment. It's also going to whack doorframes a lot.
I carry behind the hip and can only describe it as "the sweet spot". As far back as I can get it without the butt of the gun interfering with my seated position. The gun butt is "just" at the seatback and does not affect seated comfort nor my driving. The gun is also partially behind my body and the butt of the gun is not pointed straight to the rear.
I strap on a gun in the morning and don't take it off until later in the evening. The gun and holster combination must be comfortable and concealed. That is the criteria.
Just don't worry about your holster. It will last.
