If you can you need to try and put it out of your mind , becouse if you don't you drive your self nutts just like I did!! Try not to look at the web site 4-5 times a day , 84 days I waited !! It was a tuff thing to do wait that long but I did it!!good luck and God bless!!

So very true.. you will drive your self nuts.. I was only 27 days mailbox to mailbox and it was tough, i can't imagine what your 84 days was like!! :shock:

It's just frustrating. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since DPS signed for my renewal package (sent it certified) and it still just shows "waiting on the receipt of required materials". :totap:

I think this is actually part of the test. If you've haven't gone ballistic by now and made headlines somewhere, they figure you must be even tempered enough for a CHL :smilelol5:

Dear wife 'flunked' her fingerprints twice and it took about three phone calls to DPS and L1 to get her application back on track - total wait was three or four months. :mad5

Y'all hang in there !! Trust me it's worth the wait !! Just think you can carry your gun and feel safe around any one any place it's a real comfort for me and my wife to exercise our 2nd amendment blessing ,when we go out of town and she gets nervous or intimidated by a place we are unfamiliar with she will whisper to me "Do you have your gun" its a cool feeling.God bless yall and ceep your head up and your shoulders square .
