Anyone knows what this gun is? It was on tonight's episode of Covert Affairs

They probably used the gun because it looks futuristic or something. Never saw the show, so I don't know how she dresses.C-dub wrote:It is different and kind of futuristic looking. The holster for that thing must be huge. And I know it's TV, but do they really expect us to believe that little woman conceals that thing in the outfits she wears?
I believe this is the first time I have ever seen her with a gun. Find it funny how she is always running after the BG's, who have guns and shooting at her, and she doesn't have one.C-dub wrote:It is different and kind of futuristic looking. That is pretty funny. Just happened two or three episodes ago, she got shot at in Israel and went sprinting off after him with no weapon.JJVP wrote:I believe this is the first time I have ever seen her with a gun. That, and, if you believe their marketing dept., it lets them make it lighter without adversely affecting recoil...Charles L. Cotton wrote:The lower bore line would reduce muzzle flip, but at the cost of flash sight picture/combat accuracy.
Chas.
No idea if it's effective or not. I've never shot (or even held) one.Chiappa Firearms wrote:The position of the barrel lowers the center of gravity and yields a centerline of the bore more in line with the shooter's arm allowing for the most natural "point ability" while engaging a target. This characteristic also drastically reduces both recoil and muzzle flip which insures subsequent shots to be on target faster than ever before. The reduction of the recoil allows for the use of ultra light alloys to be used in the construction of the Rhino minimizing any adverse effect.
Maybe she does have one. Concealed is concealed. :)JJVP wrote:I believe this is the first time I have ever seen her with a gun.
