I and the spousal unit and a friend are going to the F1 race in Austin in November.
Hotel rooms have been seriously sold out for months, all we could find was a spot in an RV park, which we reserved.
Now I need to find an RV for it. I am looking to rent one in Tarrant count, or perhaps anywhere on the way South.
A smaller Class C would be fine as long as it has 2 full-size beds.
Have any of you rented an RV in this area and can recommend a place to do that?
Any other suggestions welcome.

Try Cruise America. They used to have some real bargains around that time of the year. Their units are good enough for what you want it for. We rented from them twice before we bought our own. They are always changing their affiliates so the best place to find one near you is their website. There was one in Cedar Hill but they no longer handle Cruise America. El Monte is another RV rental company but I don't think they have affiliates in Texas.
There is also an RV rental place just North of Fox Ave. on the I-35E service road in Lewisville. I suspect that they are pretty steep but they did have a couple of smaller Class Cs along with some big Class As.
P.S. In is a stretch to call some of the overhang beds in Class Cs "full sized"

I figured those beds might be borderline. I can put up with it for a few nights.
I'm 6'3" and our friend is 6'4" and 300 lbs
I'll check with CA. I figured they would be the highest around because they advertise

That first site looks good. The 2nd one only had 3 units, all out of state.
I like the idea of renting from a private owner. None of us are smokers. We could agree to not use the toilet in the RV.
I'd also like to be able to pick it up pretty close to Austin, or ideally have the owner tow it to our RV park near Bastrop.

There is an El Monte location in McKinney. Its a bit of a drive from Tarrant county but it might be worth it dollar-wise. We rented a mid-sized class A from them years ago before we plunked down the money to buy one of our own.
