So the guy makes a stupid video. Ok so he has a criminal record and is on probation for bank fraud. So he makes the news and attracts the attention of the federal authorities.
But held without bond?
And after Obama tells the United Nations that people who insult Mohammed have no future.

I have my suspicions regarding the answer, but does anyone know the typical punishment for this man's alleged crimes?
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.
Re: if you needed another reason to vote for Romney
It does appear that he violated his probation, and the court found him a flight risk for continuing to use aliases. While it's completely understandable to see this as a possible abuse of the judicial system to stifle free speech, it appears this MAY not be the case here..

So a man who might be sentenced for up to two years for a probation violation is going to flee and risk a much longer sentence.RoyGBiv wrote:It does appear that he violated his probation, and the court found him a flight risk for continuing to use aliases.
