G-Code vs Comp-Tac CTAC?

Post by Velocity »

First off, let me state I have a CTAC that I use, and it's a fine holster. However, depending on what you're wearing between it and your body, I have had the kydex gouge me a couple of times. I'm also in the market for another holder for another gun (sigh), and debating between a second CTAC or a G-Code.

Does anyone have any experience with the G-Code line of holsters?

Specifically, I was thinking about their standard holster with both the "comfort carry IWB" option as well as a paddle attachment. This would provide the flexibility of IWB or OWB with the same holster and both combined will still be less (pricewise) than a CTAC.

My primary concern is that the G-Code "Comfort Carry" attaches to the belt with "nylon straps" rather than the seemingly more secure (and varied, with the options) model of clips the CTAC uses.

I'm interested to hear any opinions others have on the G-Code, particularly those that have used the comfort carry IWB attachment.
