This is Opinion/Editorial section, you'd think by the title it was either pro-gun or a purely factual report, it isn't anti-gun, nor pro-gun, it's opinion added to facts
Of course that does not prove a cause and effect relationship ... also ...Eric Grabowski, manager of The Shooters Shop, 2465 S. 84th St., West Allis, said gun sales are up dramatically since Wisconsin’s concealed-carry law went into effect.
gun sales are way up since Obama has been President ...
Gun Sales are way up since Democrats are in office ....

Gun sales are way up since the BATFE/Justice Dept started providing thousands of them to our neighboring criminals
Johnson, 30, already owns a 9mm Ruger, but he said the recent spa shooting in Brookfield and the increase in violent crimes - especially in his neighborhood - have forced him to go gun shopping.
"I'm not worried about responsible gun owners; it's the irresponsible ones that you need to worry about. I just want to keep my family protected and safe," Johnson said.

With more people arming themselves, the state should consider requiring more instruction in concealed-carry classes. Some instructors don't even require people in the classes to handle a gun or demonstrate that they have any gun experience.
These are the people who may be packing heat next to you in the park or at the local supermarket.
Requirements for a concealed weapon license are minimal. You must be 21 and a resident of the state; you can't be a felon.
For the most part, the minimum required to legally conceal a gun is to sit in a two-hour class and listen to a licensed instructor.
I took a concealed-carry class in April, and the instructor walked the class though the paperwork needed to obtain a license. He answered questions and talked about the ramifications of firing a weapon. He strongly suggested that for those who had no gun experience to take a class, but it is not required. That's a problem.
I go to the range to practice; I've probably fired my guns hundreds of times. But I have little faith that others are as responsible. I would bet that most of the people in my concealed-carry class probably purchased a gun without knowing how to use it.
Drivers are required to pass both written and road tests for their protection and the protection of the public before they get their license. But we don't require the same comprehensive instruction for a gun. That's insane.
