A little plug for Remington Arms

Post by SkipB »

I have two model 700's that the recoil pads were seepping something out that was sticky. I called Remington and they said they would replace them both at no cost to me. That was wednesday, today I got both new pads along with 4 new screws for them. Thanks Remington.

:iagree: Thanks for your post SkipB. Giving feedback to companies, both positive and negative, is a great practice. If the company makes positive changes, then we all benefit. :thumbs2:

I thought it was worth a plug. Seems Remington has had some problems with the jell in some of thier older pads leaking through and they are replacing them at thier cost. Thanks Bill.

Glad to hear a good report on them.

I have always liked Remingtons.

:iagree: I own three 700s and an 1100. They all have hard plastic buttplates so I haven't had any issues with leaks.
