Career Criminals Stopped by the Butcher

Post by rationality.rebooted »

I don't think this one has been posted yet...

"At 12:07 PM on January 2, 2013 in Canton, OH, two armed men, Isaiah Bush, 17, and Digarrio McLendon, 19, entered Hever's Family Meats with their guns drawn and demanded cash from the register. One of the robbers fired several rounds, which was met with an employee securing a gun and firing back at both robbers. Both robbers fled immediately upon encountering resistance. They were each later dropped off at separate local hospitals, where police placed them under arrest and guard."

Underserved, impulsive, disenfranchised, merry duo of urban yutes, redistributing the wealth, at their own pace. Just another example of "Give me that."

The second time this has happened there. Previous guy who tried to rob them with a sawed off shotgun got pummeled, choked, held for the police, and is now stepping off 4 years at the Gray Bar Hotel.

Man, would a business that was in the practice of quickly and efficiently processing thousand-pound animal carcasses be the place one would really want to be robbing? The kind of place with stainless-steel tables, floor drains, and meat grinders?

In the world of the thriller detective novel, those guys would have just disappeared...and the butcher would be having a special on meat loaf blend!
