Curious, what does this bill have to do with firearms and why are we opposed to it? It is not clear in the description :)
If the bill passes, it increases the likelihood we'll have to use our self-defense firearms.

Tracy Dearl Cain — Convicted in 1988 of beating William Galloway, 63, to death with a rocking chair and Galloway's wife, Modena, 55, with his bare fists in 1986.
(He wanted WJ's Social Security check so he could buy drugs because the party next door ran out...)

That's my Grandma's brother = W.J. Galloway

Cain wrote books in Prison ... there's a whole group of his fan club

He had a website which had his poems or excerpts from his book for sale, but it was removed from the web; I think it hurt his case of his attorney contending he shouldn't be executed with a low I.Q. or something since his writing was good due to prison funded college

I have an opinion on the matter; ... My opinion is When WJ and Modena moved to California from Texas..WJ and Modena should have been armed. California would be in better financial shape.

When the death penalty was dropped last time Kenneth Allen Mcduff serving time for a triple murder, was removed from death row. He was eventualy paroled from prison in October of 89. From this date to a date in May of 92 when he was arrested for murder he is known to have committed 4 more murders. He was suspected of many more murders but that was never proven. His execution date was 11-17-98 the death penalty being reinstated at this time. So from October of 89 to May of 92 at least 4 people died at his hands and quite likely more than that.

So from the earlier abolishing of the death penalty we have the above atrocities committed.

This is why the death penalty should never be abolished!!!!
