An open letter to Joe Biden

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Mr. VP, I won't waste your time. So ill get to the point, unfortunately all my firearms fell into a lake in a traffic boating accident. Am I still, eligible for the free Apple Bee's gift cards? Also will,I need to register my beloved Red Ryder BB gun as a Class Three firearm. Can you send me the proper paperwork so I can get my $200 dollar tax stamp..... :banghead:

Great letter, Andy. Too bad it makes far too much sense and that advice would fall on deaf ears.

Their minds are made up and they will not entertain any options other than what they want to implement.

:iagree:

Biden is having all of these so called "meetings" for political theatrics in regards to the gun debate. "King" Obama has already made up his mind and decided on a course of action and wants it to appear as if they are "listening".

Unfortunatly this great letter will not be read. Even if it is, they are oblivious to what the real issue is. They want to take away our 2A rights so bad that they will not listen to reason. The AWB is only the first step I believe. So what comes after our RKBA is gone? Think about it.

Try telling them that we dont need more laws, we need them to enforce the laws we have now and you will be scoffed at.

Yep, sold all of my guns last year to that guy over in El Paso. No, sorry, I dont remember his name but he was a real nic eguy and paid cash for all of them. :evil2:

Again.... we badly need a "Like" button here. The only thing wrong with your letter Andy is that it makes far too much sense and its tone is too reasonable. Thus, Joe Biden will not be able to understand it. It will be like the "Wah wah wah" voice of adults in Charlie Brown cartoons. After the first sentence, this is what it will look like to him:
Mr Vice President,

You bear the incredible burden of resolving mass-shootings at schools; an incredible burden because if you get it wrong more children will die.

[quote="AndyC"] and I would be my bottom dollar that there's nothing as protective as a mama she-bear of a teacher whose kids are being threatened.

Well said. I will share this with others as well. Unfortunately, the Administration has an agenda and is not looking for real solutions or input. As you noted, there are no "experts" being consulted that I am aware of.
