AssaultWeapon.info

EXTREMELY well done presentation, kind of like a powerpoint presentation, which gives the full history of "assault weapons" in this country, and how the term "assault weapon" (as opposed to "assault rifle") was coined and by whom. Also includes all the relevant statistics, explains how the antis fudge the statistics, etc., etc., etc.

It avoids emotionally charged words, and simple says, "these are the facts......you decide." I'll bet that anybody who is sitting on the fence right now would be convinced by it to join us in supporting the RKBA, and resisting the AWB.

I just linked this on my FB account with a challenge: find one false statement in that slide show and they could personally destroy my semi-auto rifle. That oughta keep the libtards busy for a while.

Thanks!!! I've been looking for a simple and non-emotional way to enlighten as many people as I could without sounding like "one of those". This will do the trick. Posted the link on my Facebook page.

This link appears to be down currently, or is it just my ineptness?

I'm getting the same thing.

I'm bummed.

Great link TAM. And within that link is a link to "An Updated Assessment of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban: Impacts on Gun Markets and Gun Violence, 19942003" that contain this jewel:
Should it be renewed, the ban’s effects on gun violence are likely to be small at
best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement

For those getting a blank page with facebook & twitter icons, try scrolling the page to the right. For some reason, on my computer the text was oriented all the way to the right of my monitor.

Maybe its a browser thing? It's still working for me, using Google Chrome on a Mac. If you're seeing the initial page, just use your right and left arrow keys to navigate the pages. That's why it's kind of like a powerpoint presentation. You see "slides" as you navigate.
