Obama opposed law to allow legal gun used to defend life

Obama opposed a law to allow legal gun used to defend life and property within your home.

It sort of points out how quickly Obama became President of the United States. His vote occurred while he was a state senator in 2004.

A man had shot a burglar in his home in Illinois and was fined $750 for violating the cities gun ordinance. This law was designed to make future actions like that legal in Illinois. The law was approved by the largely Democratic legislature over Obama's no vote. The Governor at the time Rod Blagojevich (remember him) vetoed the bill. The bill was then later passed over his veto. Obama did not vote the second time as he was already running for the US Senate.

Obama has recently signed a bill that would provide a lifetime of armed security for him and his wife.

He is now deciding what new legislation or executive orders are required in light of the Sandy Hook murders.

In 1996, "Obama answered “Yes” to a survey question asking whether he would support state legislation to “ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns.” The Obama 2008 presidential campaign claimed the form had been filled out by an aide who mischaracterized Obama’s position, even though Obama’s handwriting was found on survey."

I contacted Michael Bloomberg and Vice President Biden today.
I offered to turn in a gun and a 30 round "clip" as a trade for the Passport Barry Sotero used to go to Pakistan as a teen.
And a buddy offered to kick in to sweeten the deal ...

So why do we need evidence from 8 years ago that he is anti-gun? Isn't his position obvious?
