A fine defense, but still no rebuttal for the anti's favorite phrase,"High powered assault weapon." Why, oh why, can't those in the know ram through the facts that these are not assault weapons, and they're not high powered? I believe I get angrier at the missed opportunities than I do with the person calling them assault weapons.

I agree completely. It makes me nuts. I will actually sit in my chair saying out loud... Tell them it isn't an "assault rifle" .
