As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Best analogy of the President's and the Left's strategy

Post by SlickTX »

I was listening to drive time radio in the DFW area yesterday and heard the best analogy of how Obama is playing the gun control game.

He's like the worst of the oldtime sleazy carnival preachers. You know, the folks that would pray for healing or for rain saying "if you have enough faith" you will be healed or the rains will come. If the healing or rain doesn't come, then he blames you for not having enough faith . . . because he did his job.

The analogy to Obama is that if his executive orders don't work and if Congress doesn't pass the gun ban, then when the next horrible shooting occurs its (the Republican-controlled) Congress' fault for not passing the gun ban and its a federal agency's fault for not implementing the executive order . . . because he did his job.
[Insert pithy witicism here]

Proudly carrying since 09/10.

He also just signed an EO to provide government (taxpayer funded) protection for the president and his family FOR LIFE. Used to be 10 years. While doing "everything in the power of his office" to ban guns. Wonder why?????
