How to tick off a gun show dealer

Post by jmorris »

Well, not a firearms dealer. One of those everything else in the world, especially things you never knew you needed and really don't. Last gun show (literally) in Live Oak, TX. (I'd forgotten about this until another post jogged my memory.)

Walking around the end of the row and I spot a badge in a class case. Could it be? I look closer. Yes! It's the infamous concealed handgun license holder badge. I start to walk away when the dealer steps up and says "if you've got your CHL you really need to have this badge".

I replied, "oh, I have better than the badge".

Oh?

Yes, I have my CHL sash and tiara. In gold and silver.

He looked at me. He turned and walked away.

Been a while since I've seen a sash and tiara reference. Good times.

Anyone heard from Hoi? She was the original person the tiara was attributed to.

I am VERY disappointed to hear that. I learned a lot from her and Random Outburst and most everyone here as well. Wish her the best!
