It has come to my attention that Groupon has cowered to gun control and political pressure.
Please answer this question: How does allowing people access to firearms training and safety promote violence by criminals and mentally ill sociopaths?
I will no longer do business with you until you change your mind, and will publicly share your stance on gun control via social media. I sincerely hope you reconsider.
It has come to my attention that Groupon has cowered to gun control fanatics and political pressure and chosen to stop doing business with firearms related companies.
I cannot condone this attack on legitimate, law-abiding businesses, an attack both in conflict with the Second Amendment and with all reasonable logic.
How can offering training to honest firearms owners be a bad thing? Why penalize law-abiding firearms owners and firearms-related businesses for the actions of evil, mentally ill psychopaths? What point are you trying to make?
I will cease doing business with Groupon until you change this policy. I urge you to reconsider this misguided decision.
I can maybe see it for a new restaurant where you're willing to take a loss on somebody's first visit, hoping they will like it enough to come back and maybe even become a regular. But with an instructor, repeat business is 4 years later, so why pay Groupon's crazy high commission fees?sjfcontrol wrote:It beats me why anybody (much less CHL instructors) would want to use Groupon, anyway.
My thinking too. However, I've heard that repeat business is problematic, too. Since the customer is now used to highly discounted prices he may balk at paying full price. Once they get a discount, they expect to get it every time.nightmare wrote:I can maybe see it for a new restaurant where you're willing to take a loss on somebody's first visit, hoping they will like it enough to come back and maybe even become a regular.
