I just now realized that I have become the member with the highest post count.

Well, at least your posts are worth reading my friend. Keep up the good work. I am always impressed with your thoughts and your willingness to put those thoughts into written words.

Many of us would have a higher post count, however you already voiced our opinion, so we don't have to write it out. :-)

Ok, your posting Highness, give us the top 10 list of posters (by number of posts) and your favorite top 10 posts you have seen on the forum.
That aught to keep you busy for a while. :biggrinjester:

Impossible task! The top ten by number is easy:

But listing my top ten favorite posts cannot be done. There are a number of members whose opinions I value highly, in no small part because they have been formative of my own. I have evolved politically, directly because of the influence of members of this forum, not all of whom are necessarily prolific posters. But I am pleased to say that I have made actual, as opposed to virtual, friendships with some of you, and that has expanded my world. I arrived in Texas in April of 2006, and I joined this forum in January 2008. I now have three categories of friends here: those I met in church, those I met though the local business community, and friends I made on TexasCHLForum.com. I know a lot of people because I am naturally gregarious and outgoing, but I have few real friends, those I would call "Hermanos de Corazon"—brothers of my heart. All of my family, aside from my wife and son, live 1,500 miles from here on the west coast. I have been back there several times over the intervening six and a half years to visit them, but in all that time, only one of them has come here to visit me, my mother, and that was an afterthought to her visit to a friend of hers in Houston. Consequently, my friends here in Texas have filled that role for me, and maybe that is why my post count here has gotten so high. You all are my family. A smaller number of you, whom I've gotten to know better and in person, are my Hermanos de Corazon—brothers of my heart.

More importantly, the posts always seem to be the most reasonable, intelligently thought out posts here.

I go out of the way to see what TAM has to say, please keep up the great work.

No, I am older than he is, and have no reason to suck up.

While I am throwing compliments around, I feel JALLEN's posts are way up there in thought and insight.

If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.

Wow. That's real.
If there were a count for "nodding in agreement" that might even surpass your word count. :coolgleamA:
I don't want to rain on your parade here ... I have to inform you, You are in my cross-hairs. I'm gunning for you...

Timeline? I'll catch you about the same Piers Morgan catches O'Reilly in the ratings.
