Teenager Killed with Swords in London

Post by Vol Texan »

Of course we're reminded so often as to how wonderfully gun control has worked in Great Britain. Well, here's another example of why it's important to be able to defend yourself. Imagine how this would have played out if the victim or some other onlooker would have had a CHL.

Your best option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
When those fail, aim for center mass.

I just spent this past Fri running around seeing the sights of London, glad I missed that one.
On another note, I was in Germany and had just left the Franfurt airport when a gunman boarded the bus of military members and started shooting. I Have been lucky enough to stay a few steps ahead of the mayhem.

good thing they don't have guns in the U.K. or this would have been a real tragedy.
Armed not dangerous but potentially lethal.
