Anybody Have or Tried XS Express Sights?

Post by Robert*PPS »

These are supposed to be great for quick target acquisition and all that....does anybody have 'em or tried shooting with them?

Haven't tried the pistol sights. I have XS ghost ring sights on my Marlin truck gun. They are high quality, and I am very happy with them.

They are good combat sights. Especially for old eyes.

My CD HiPower clone came with them from the factory. Wish I had them on all my SD pistols. Plus they are made here in Fort Worth

I have the Trijicon version of that large dot front sight on my .357 snubby, and I have the Trijicon HD sights on my XDm, which are similar. Those two sets of sights are my favorites out of all of my handguns.

I have them on all my carry pistols and my HD Shotgun. I love them and they do their job very well. For some reason on the S&W pistols has just a white line rear site and has no Tritium. The rear site has Tritium for the Glocks.

I have a couple of sets of XS sights. My favorite are the XTIs on my scoped AR.

XS sights work great, they are a Texas based company and overall they are just good people.

I have the XS Big Dots on my carry gun and love them. Just put that BIG front sight on the target and get hits. Really don't even have to pay attention to the rear V. They take some getting used to but they are way faster than standard 3-dot sights. I will put them on any gun I carry from now on.

How much accuracy do you give up for quick target acquisition i.e. shouldn't have any problems hitting center mass at 15 yards?

Not at all. There are some XS videos on You Tube that show 50 yard shots.

I know people don't like James Yeager but his XS sights demos are good. Watch these two videos. The first one he shoots all the way out to 100 yards. The second one he shows the proper sight picture while using them.
