Your next FTF private gun sale with fellow forum member?

Post by LSUTiger »

Be warned, it's a link to Alex Jones website so it must by default have absolutely no credibility or any shred of truth to it, not even a little.

But watch the video this could be your next your next FTF legal private gun sale with a fellow forum member. Kinda creepy being watched.

More importantly, that pretty much ends my sunbathing nude in the backyard! Darn perverts!

I am not really liking where the issue of the use of drones over US soil is headed. Besides loss of privacy, expect MWAG calls galore.

Unless these vehicles were somewhere they shouldn't have been, drawing attention to themselves, I doubt this was real.

It smells staged to me for its propaganda benefit.

The article says
"The clip is part of promo material for the Shadowhawk drone, a 50lb mini helicopter that can be fitted with an XREP taser with the ability to fire four barbed electrodes that can be shot to a distance of 100 feet, delivering “neuromuscular incapacitation” to the victim. "
There is also a pretty craftily written part right at the beginning. I think what they are saying is that this is a commercial to sell drones and that they are using bogus situation. Welcome to Hollywood.

I'm more concerned with the fact that they can fire "things" from these at citizens on US soil.

It couldn't have been. The rifle was a SBR for sure. What I saw was a staged promo for a drone company using LEO issue weapons (SBR AR15 and a Glock of some kind)

The purpose for the post was to bring attention to any 4th amendment issues being trampled and general loss of privacy as Big Brother continues to grow.

Watching drones take out terrorists on the battlefield is one thing but I think watching it surveil an activity we as gun owners could relate to either by having done legal FTF gun sales or having the idea that any activity we engage in could be under undue scrutiny where there should be none in the first place might have a different impact on how we view the issue of drones over the USA.

I am all for fighting real crime but I'm not willing to give up "freedom for security".

No you are wrong, I am sure the drones when recording video have a feature to add in a background loop track for dramatic effect.

If you believe anything you see or hear from Alex Jones (or infowars.com or prisonplanet.com) then I truly feel sorry for you as you are most likely a blithering idiot.

"THEY" have been able to fire "things" (much worse than tasers) from drones at citizens on U.S. soil for years now, lacking only the political will and evil intent to do so. It doesn't really matter what one's opinion of it is, but they already overcame the inertia against firing on U.S. citizens. What remains is the inertia of doing it on U.S. soil.

The thing about technology is that it lacks any kind of intent, good or bad. Even things which are built for the purpose of mass destruction—Fat Man and Little Boy—lack evil intent since they were used for the purpose of drawing a long and costly war, both in terms of material destruction and human lives lost, to a more rapid end than would have otherwise occurred. In the case of those two bombs, even the Japanese lost fewer lives than they would have lost had the U.S. had to go through with a land invasion and continued aerial firebombing of their cities, though the loss of life in those two cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki alone was beyond imagining. The devices themselves were no more evil than a pistol. The only thing that counted from a moral perspective was the user's intent and the context in which they were used.

It's the same with drones. There are plenty of very good applications for drone technology: SAR, forestry analysis, crop analysis, traffic monitoring, and yes, with limitations, even police work. The problem isn't drones, per se. It is the death of the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments.

What if that FTF sale is on private property, and just so happens to be a bird gun that needs to be tested out? I'd hate for that drone to end up as a clay pigeon.
