Maybe this is what is tempering (decision makers) the Texas Legislative session??? It is obvious most are trying to distance themselves from the issue, focusing on other financial and social issues until they absolutely have to address, or not bills that would help our cause out...That's the impression I get...

I'm not saying that is a bad thing, we may very well turn out ok this session, but looking at the national trend, you know our elected officials, at least in this state are getting pressure...Like Charles said, and I agree, we need to direct pressure at just the right time and amount to salvage a rather lackluster Second Amendment coalition...

Just my opinion...

Been to Austin twice this session, on other political issues, and the gist I got was there are a few other things we have to knock out before this one aspect...And its not that they are ignoring it, I have a feeling it will get its day in court before the last day...We'll have to wait and see...
