So I went there and it just takes me to the DPS website. How am I suppose to email in forms there? Am I just mentally inept?Note: This email address does not accept reply correspondence.

Confused by an email I got from DPS
I got the following email after sending in a class completion form:
I conceal carry because I choose not to be a victim.
Re: Confused by an email I got from DPS
Looks like an automatic generic reply. I would continue to send the forms as you have always done until they give you specific instrcutions on why the address might have changed.

Re: Confused by an email I got from DPS
I got the typical Auto reply and then about an hour later I got this email. That is why I was so confused. It also said "please copy and paste any previous messages into the new message." I just want to make sure they got my class completion. I guess I will wait and see if I get the typical "the department is in receipt of your class completion" email.

That's the usual auto response. You will get an email confirmation later that your Certificate of Class Completion was received. When I upload mine, I print the page showing the attachment before I hit the submit button, then I print the "Thank You" screen and keep those until I receive the confirmation email.mommagamber wrote:I got the typical Auto reply and then about an hour later I got this email. Ok, I send in a class completion at least once a week and this is the first time I have ever gotten this email.Charles L. Cotton wrote:That's the usual auto response. Re: Confused by an email I got from DPS
Same here, I had a class last week also. Got same email, so I sent it through the new email. After that I got the usual email thanking me for using their services. Either they are changing/fixing to change email, one of the two. To be honest , don't like the new email asks for lots of info , ss# , dl# , instructor #, makes me feel like I was signing up for first time.
Now I could be wrong but that's what I did.

Re: Confused by an email I got from DPS
I did not see a new email to send it through unless they now want us to send it through the contact form on the DPS page. Is that what you did?garcia946 wrote:Same here, I had a class last week also. I should clarify that while this is a standard email, it is new.mommagamber wrote:Ok, I send in a class completion at least once a week and this is the first time I have ever gotten this email.Charles L. To add to this the subject line of the email said "Invalid email address" I am still unsettled that this is just an auto response.

Re: Confused by an email I got from DPS
Just tried to do this and I keep getting a runtime error. I really just want to make sure that they got my forms.garcia946 wrote:mommagamber wrote:I did not see a new email to send it through unless they now want us to send it through the contact form on the DPS page.
