Too fast to be true? (36 days)

2/24 - Class
2/28 - Mailed application
3/19 - PIN issued
4/02 - Online status is "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"
4/05 - Plastic in hand

I don't know when my status actually changed. I haven't been checking very often since I was sure it would take longer than this.

That makes 33 days or less for processing, and I should have it in hand in under 40 (I hope)

So can you carry right now? I've always wondered that... Or do you have to wait for your actual plastic???

You can't carry legally without plastic in hand.

If you get stopped and the LEO's computer shows that you're "active", you only have to tell him that you haven't yet received your license.

It came in the mail today... that makes 36 days, door-to-door.
