OH: Target of peeping tom shoots like a girl

In Sunbury, Ohio (middle of nowhere), a woman saw a man looking into her windows twice. Now she tapes used targets on her windows, both to block the peeper's view and to "send a message." Apparently he got the message.

My wife's targets usually have big holes in the center that would not serve to block his view. OTOH, they make a good aiming point.

I've got a full size upright freezer in the garage, which is visible from the street. Nice place to hang targets since the holes are quite visible with the white background. I spend a good bit of time in the garage (man cave) and neighbors frequently drop by to chat. Can be a very nice conversation starter, but also a bit of a deterrent to those with less than friendly intentions......

I would think there's a psychological obstacle to putting one's eye to a hole in a target.

Not to dismiss an important issue. In my opinion, peeping toms generally are pathetic dweebs. However, they sometimes escalate their behavior to the extent of burglary, rape, and kidnapping.

I read about one that broke into the house of some young girls and was stealing their underwear. The mother noticed when they literally did not have enough underwear to get through the week.

IIRC, the pervert had jimmied a window and could come and go as he pleased.
