In New Jersey, my anti gun facebook friends are advancing their agenda with this.

I presume is was illegal for a 4 year old to have access to a firearm.

Yes, the left thinks that if one person is irresponsible, then everyone's rights should be taken away - just so long as it's not in an area where they encourage irresponsibility.

We're all very aware of how morally bereft they are. Perhaps we should be pointing that out to them more often.

For example, if one woman needs an abortion, then we should pass a law that requires that all men were condoms when not having sex with their own wives. Or if one person commits a crime, then everyone should have their rights taken away so they can't commit a crime in the future. If one person votes twice, then no one should be allowed to vote once. If a child drowns in a swimming pool, then we should ban swimming pools for anyone who has children. All very logical to liberals.

So sad. The kids should never have had access to that firearm in any way that was unsafe. Strongly supervised contact only while pointed downrage at a safe target. Unfortunately, too many people out there don't think of a .22 as a deadly firearm and don't treat it that way.

At least the people interviewed appear to be blaming the person who left the gun accessible to the child instead of the gun itself.
