Revised CHL-7, CHL-8, and CHL-70 on the DPS Website

Post by txtaxman »

I just checked the Downloadable Forms section of the DPS Website. CHL-7, CHL-8, and CHL-70 have been revised. The main difference that I noticed is that on the CHL-7 and CHL-8 they have removed the option to send them in by email. They now specify to either Fax the forms or upload them to the "Contact Us" section of their website. The CHL-100 form does not appear on their list of downloadable forms at this time; I wonder if that means it is also under revision.

Uploading the forms to their website will be more time consuming than sending the CHL-8 using Mr. Cotton's great MS Excel application, because it requires that you type in name, email address, etc. each time.

The list of forms on their website does not list the dates--I spot checked and found the revised forms.

As far as I can see, there has been no change. Until told otherwise, I'll continue submitting as I have in the past.
