HB 1030 Burnam
Relating to the authority of a political subdivision to prohibit the sale of firearms on public property in certain circumstances.
This is a horrible bill. As usual, Burnam, who is F rated, tries to preempt state authority by allowing cities to ban gun shows on public property. Please write the committee members and advise them of your position on this bill.
The status of the bill on the Texas Firearms Coalition site is "Position on Bill: Oppose, very bad bill and typical of F-Rated Lon Burnam. "
