This would have been stopped fast and legally in Texas (I'm assuming Castle Doctrine applies as far as a bulldozer threatening your home):

Interesting, I was told over the the Bluebonnet Brigade FB page, that WA state was much more liberal in its carry laws than TX, therefore . . . well, I'm not exactly sure the therefore because the poster was getting angry at me for being a pawn of the NRA and starting to be incoherent on top of already being irrelevant.
If WA's carry laws are so great, why didn't someone put a stop to the rampage?

What infuriated me were the "pacifists" who viewed the situation as a threat to property only / let the insurance company handle it scenario.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I see this as legally equivalent to an active shooter on my street, and that I would be justified using deadly force on or off my property.

I do not know if there is someone in my neighbor's homes, so left unstopped he is a threat to persons as well as property.
A bulldozer is certainly a deadly weapon when used in such a fashion.

Unless things changed a lot recently, carry laws are irrelevant in you own home.
Besides, it would take people in Seattle more than two hours to drive to where this happened.
