I would say UK needs a new 2nA in a new constitution.

Job one is to organize. Everyone, and I mean everyone who wants their rights back has to have skin in the game.

Good luck with that. Kind of difficult to shake off that tyranny thing once you have been disarmed.

They would also need to revise their laws on use of force against criminals. Right now a housewife can go to prison for looking cross-eyed at a thug.

Does this story remind anybody else of that song from the 70's; "Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's gone".
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

Exactly. Plenty more problems there than just the gun ban.

BINGO! First they need to get their government to stop blocking their right to self-defense. I read one truly terrible story about two thugs who broke into a flat, beat a man unmercifully, and because he raised his hands to try and ward off the blows, the two thugs were acquitted. The victim was left with some permanent brain injuries the beating was so severe. Who knows what would have happened to the victim if he would have truly fought back, probably jail time.

This is where you start. Start by clarifying the law that a person assaulting another person may be stopped. Start working on a castle doctrine that your home is your own and you may defend it. Then as the culture begins to change back you might be able to get some things back....it is a long long hard road that may take a lifetime to accomplish, but :tiphat: to them. Let them try.
