Not one but TWO letters received from DPS today with my PIN. One was dated April 10 and the other April 11. Good to see they are redoubling their efforts over there!

Is there any way to enter a voluntary coma and have somebody wake in a month or two?

How long did it take between your mailing the application and receiving the PIN? Thanks!

Don't ask for a coma....make use of your time by practicing your carry rig at home with different clothing to see what works best, review your handbook, go to the range and practice and don't check the DPS website every 10 minutes. That's the best advice I was given from LT after submitting my application. Hang in there...it'll get there when it gets there, but make good use of your time.

WELCOME ABOARD!!!!!

Thanks razor, all that was Plan B.

And I'm limiting myself to three status checks per day at mealtimes, whether I like it or not!

BTW, Class of '97 here.
