Very pleased with HS Graduation

Post by jocat54 »

We went to my Grand Daughters graduation in Orange Grove last night and was very pleasantly surprised. They had the National Anthem, pledge allegiance, and opening and closing prayers.
Ain't it great to be in Texas.

Well, I am sitting in Reliant Arena right now waiting for my son's HS graduation to start. We'll see ....

Hope my gun is still in my parked car when I leave...

Gun was still in the car. HS band played "America the Beautiful" and the National Anthem, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, and there was a prayer thanking God for all our blessings. :thumbs2: :thumbs2:

Congrats to all the grads out there. Not all school districts are completely corrupted...at least not yet. My daughters attend school in a district where they say the Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas pledge every morning at the start of school....facing the flags, hand over heart. Everything stops while this is going on.

I'm glad to hear it. I wonder how Tomball and CyFair are doing in those respects... A neighbor's daughter is graduating (CyFair), but we haven't been/weren't invited...
