Front license plates
In 2011 the legislature fouled up while combining some statutes and the result was that there was no longer a penalty for not have a front license plate on the vehicle. Policer continued to pull people over for not complying with a law that no longer existed. I'm just wondering if the legislature just completed did anything to rectify this situation by recriminalizing the absence of a front plate?

Re: Front license plates
The law still existed, there was just no penalty. Kinda like not showing your CHL when asked for ID. But HB625 passed and becomes effective 9/1/13. It brings the $200 penalty back.gdanaher wrote:In 2011 the legislature fouled up while combining some statutes and the result was that there was no longer a penalty for not have a front license plate on the vehicle.
