Failed

Well the entrance exam to the Mckinney Police department was yesterday and I failed it. I had been averaging 80's on the practice test and made a 69 on the real exam. I am pretty lost as to not only why I failed, but how I can avoid failing again in 6 months should they open it up again to retake it. Anyone a LEO that failed the test the first time? All I have heard is "I knew someone who failed it the first time" or "we have officers that failed it the first time" Unless I can get some feedback from someone personally I am going to start thinking it is just something they say to be nice to those who bombed it.

I have taken those before for city Police and DPS and always passed them (but never quite made it to the last cut that got selected). The most recent one I took was for Harris County reserves a few years ago. I would suggest you pick up a study guide and brush up on the areas you do not do well in, Barron's and probably a million other companies sell them.

I had a study guide and they don't tell you what area you fail is the thing that is crappy.
