I watched it with my son last night and my daughter came in the last few minutes. Good movie until at the end, they're standing at attention full military uniform at a ceremony in their honor and the female has her hair down, the Rock has his goatee, then proceeds to grab a gun by the trigger and shoots into the air.
Good thing it happened at the end of the movie cuz I would have rolled my eyes and walked out.
The awesome thing was as soon as he grabbed the gun by the trigger, the kids and I looked at each other like, did that just happen?! We discussed why it was wrong and I also pointed out that it's not ok to shoot into the air like that and the reason why.
Do movie mistakes bug you?

If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you carry a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?
Re: New GI Joe movie (spoiler)
There's a new GI Joe movie?
Edit: Forgot to answer the question... Movie mistakes kinda bug me... Depends on the character making them. I finally saw Skyfall yesterday, and noticed that Bond was running around with his finger on the trigger. Maybe spies train that way because they're so "leet" or something, but I kinda doubt it and so it kinda bugged me. But some gasta thug doing the same thing? That's just a realistic depiction of their average intelligence. I do wish hollywood would have this particular indiscretion come back and bite the characters a bit more often, though... With as many people who learn about guns through movies and TV, it might actually save a life some day.

I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.
Re: New GI Joe movie (spoiler)
I should say the new as in just out on DVD.
OK, had to look up "leet" and am still wondering what it means. Lol.

Reminds me of a certain scene in Pulp Fiction. Poor Marvin.Dave2 wrote:I do wish hollywood would have this particular indiscretion come back and bite the characters a bit more often, though...

Dave2 spelled it incorrectly(PWNED). It's actually "L33T" mmorpg/chat/internet slang for "Elite", occasionally used with a modifier "Uber".CHLLady wrote:I should say the new as in just out on DVD.![]()

Here's a fun music primer on chat slang:

I thought that there would be someone curious about what it meant or that there could be a 60+ year old WoWhead. No Joy...dadtodabone wrote:Laddie, lvl 90 warrior, MO, Garona Rampage. Don't make me get my main.......

I specifically stayed out of WoW after the hours I'd put into Diablo 2.
